Message:To my knowledge, there is no Beckwith Cemetery in Chickasaw County. There is a cemetery by this name in Floyd County, the next county to the west.

Message:This record shows Lot 93. The cemetery said they do not have a Lot 93 but Section 93. The oldest grave is in Section 94 just feet away from Section 93 and they can not read the name, the stone is broken. The oldest grave is from Nov 4, 1855 as recorded in this record.I believe this is Sarah Cornwell Haddock wife of Major William Haddock.

Message:Francis Fell Brown - March 25, 1843 April 6, 1863 - Died en route from Young's Point LA to Iowa. Son of Elwood and Hannah (Webster) Brown. He and 4 of his brothers served in the Civil War, only 1 would live to old age.

Message:This lady is the first wife of John S. Hudson, who is buried in the Schaller Cemetery; she actually died in 1868 and is buried in Clinton Co. I believe the error occurred because John S. Hudson's second wife's WPA entry included a note in the records that stated first wife was buried in Clinton Co.

Message:These numbers are not correct. She was 7 in the 1870 census and 17 in the 1880 census. History of Henry County says "Grezelle A., born April 6, 1869, died in May, 1883;" [ These dates can not be correct as she was a daughter of Jacob's first wife Eliza/Elizabeth Hume]

Message:This should be Richard Van Buskirk, husband of Christiana Arnold Van Buskirk. She was my g-grandfather's sister. He was my g-grandmother's brother. (Two brothers married to two sisters.)

Message:In the 1934 Davenport, Scott Co., Ia. City Directory listed at Ancestry.com is a listing for Lucy Folsom (widow of Frank) in 1934. Lucy was the wife of Frank William Folsom (marriage record, census, directories, etc.)
