Message:Sophia had 3 children that died in infancy and two other childen that grew to adults - William and Agnes. Sophia died in 1918. This could not be a child of hers. I believe this is a reference to her husband - Joseph William. Sophia is my great grandmother. Joseph & Sophia are buried in the Yale Cemetery, Yale, IA with Sophia's family (Hanysh). There are no other Worshek's buried there.

Message:Assuming that this record is for Mary Lins, who was married to Conrad Lins (1833-1923), I believe that the Date of Death is incorrect. It should be 13 AUG 1925 (not 1915). The Iowa Death records for 1920-1940 on Ancestry have her Death Date = 13 AUG 1925.

Message:Margaret Anna "Annie" Corbin (my g-grandmother) married William Alva Stephens. They were both buried in Packwood (I have his death certificate). Annie was born 8 Jul 1861 and died 23 Feb 1935 (Jefferson). She has at least three children buried with her and her husband; there is a central stone inscribed "Stephens." Find-a-grave is messed up. Message:Elizabeth Lavina (Benway) Smith Willard is my great grandmother on my fathers side. I visited her unmarked grave site on 8-28-2017. No grave stone was found. Sanford & Margret's Smiths stone was there and supposedly in the same location as Lavina's.

Message:Minnie (Hofmeyer) Brinkhuis was the first wife of my paternal grandfather, Abraham Brinkhuis. She died very young, 35 years old, leaving one daughter about 3 years old. She is not directly related to me, but I knew her daughter, whom I called aunt Gerrie, and her 2 grandsons. My father is the son of Abraham with his second wife. See the Wedding photo at url.

Message:Magnus was my great-grandfather. Swedish records show that he was born on March 13 and baptized on March 14, 1837. He died December 12, 1911. His obituary says Tuesday and that was December 12, not 11.
