| Message: | The Black Hawk County, Iowa death certificate for this man has his name as George Maxwell Hughes. Born March 11, 1878 or 79 (looks written over) and Died February 11, 1922. Parents were Ellis Hughes and Virginia Modi. He would not have been born at the time of the War of 1812. It is believed that he may have served in the Spanish American War. |
