Message: | Re note saying 'another wife is buried on this lot.' This is probably Lauranda Beers who married David Beers in 1864 and died 25 Jan 1918 in Jackson Co IA. Her death certificate says buried in Mt Hope Cemetery.
She was Lorinda? Diadem O'Dell [aka L D] daughter of William O'Dell and Martha Bates. Sister of Mary M O'Dell Henton d. 1922 and Maria O'Dell Davis d. 1891. |

Message: | This is the grave of my gr gr grandmother. Born in Alstead NH 1817. Maiden name was Laura Kidder. Married Luther Hatch in 1838 at Lisle IL and had three sons. Luther died in 1852 and she re-married Benjamin F Morrison (also originally from Alstead NH) in 1856 at Lisle and they moved to Central City. She died in 1879 and Benjamin moved back to his hometown, Alstead NH where he died in 1885. |

Message: | His name was Amos Cheney and he served in the 87th New York Infantry. His military stone has the name misspelled as Cheeney. It was a different Amos Cheney who served in the 11th Iowa Infantry. He is buried at Millersburg in Iowa County. |
