It is hard to believe he would be around 173 years old now. Family rumor has it he was poisoned by his Irish in-laws. It was a known fact that the Irish didn't care for the French back then. But my Great Grandma Mary found him irresistable somehow. A suave gent I imagine that swept her off her feet. I am told my Grandmother wore a black tafita dress until her death.
