No Civil War Regiment has been found for the Jacob Kimble buried at Oakview even though his stone says Civil War veteran. I believe that his DOD is also incorrect on the stone because he is listed in the 1880 Census records in Monroe County. The stone appears to be much newer than the 1879 death date.
