Husband George Barr moved to Kansas after 1887 and homesteaded a quarter section of land. He is buried in the Utica Cem., Utica, Ness, Kansas. Barrs and Haines both came to Iowa from Ohio, both formerly of Chester County, Pennsylvania.Christianna & George Barr only had one son to carry on the family name.
