Micah French was a Soldier in the war of 1812 and served as a Private under Captain Stephen Clarke and Captain Lemuel Pattengill in Stranahan’s 16th Regiment, New York Militia. He was wounded by a musket ball in his left arm at the Battle of Queenstown.
